National Timber Company (NTC) is a vertically integrated holding. Its main lines of activities are logging and woodworking operations in northwest Russia. The Vologda, Arkhangelsk, Ulianovsk and Karelia regions, are homes to various operating entities within the NTC group. Kipelovo, Kovzha, Kirillov Sokol woodworking plants operate in the Vologda region. Ulianovsk plant is located in the Ulianovsk region south of Moscow. Ustyales is one of the largest combined logging and milling plants in the Arkhangelsk region. In the fall of 2003, Severlesprom (the Vologda region) and the Ilyinsky Mill (Korelia) were successfully acquired and are now an integral part of the NTC Group.
