Russia’s Finance Ministry placed 30 billion rubles worth of OFZ government bonds of two series at auctions on Wednesday, the ministry said in a statement.
At the first auction, the ministry placed 15 billion rubles worth of OFZ 26222 bonds maturing in October 2024. The cut-off and the weighted average yield amounted to 7.12% annually. Demand totaled 68.317 billion rubles.
At the second auction, the ministry sold 15 billion rubles worth of OFZ 26221 bonds maturing in March 2033. The cut-off and the weighted average yield amounted to 7.52% annually. Demand stood at 40.012 billion rubles.
