Stabilization Fund grows $67.7 bln to $156.81 bln in 2007

Russia's Stabilization Fund, which collects windfall oil revenue, stood at just over 3.849 trillion rubles or $156.81 billion on January 1, 2008, the Finance Ministry said.

The Stabilization Fund contained 2.347 trillion rubles ($89.13 billion) on January 1, 2007 and 3.517 trillion rubles ($144.43 billion) on December 1, 2007.

Stabilization Fund assets on foreign currency accounts totaled $66.85 billion, EUR50.95 billion and GBP7.70 billion as of January 1, 2008.
