| CV | Aleksey Balashov graduated from the State University of Management with a degree in Financial Management. Aleksey started his professional career in 1996 with the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX), taking part in creating and developing the exchange infrastructure for the Russian government and corporate bond market. In 2002–2015, he held various management positions in investment and corporate units of Russia’s top banks, where he was involved in executing debt financing deals, bill financing programmes, syndicated loans, and cross-border transactions. Prior to joining REGION Group, Aleksey worked at the Financial Market Development Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, where he led the team responsible for implementing the Russian Bond Market Development Programme (Bondisation). He is now in charge of debt financing transactions and bond issuer relations. |
